Equipment

Put these in working order.

A computer with a working camera, microphone, and speakers
A smartphone with a working camera for the secondary view
A stable internet connection
A valid government-issued photo ID accepted for your country

Room

Remove avoidable surprises.

A quiet, private, well-lit room where you can be alone
One uninterrupted hour with nobody entering the room
A cleared desk without paper, notes, headphones, or extra devices
A position where your face, ears, screen, and keyboard remain visible as required

During the test

Protect the validity of your session.

Keep your eyes on the screen except while typing.
Do not read, memorize, record, or consult answers from another source.
Do not take notes, use headphones, or use a second monitor.
Disable predictive text, proofreading, typing-suggestion, and reference tools.
Do not use a virtual machine or interfere with either camera recording.
Use only the allowed keyboard, mouse, computer, and phone, and stay alone.

Secondary camera

Your phone is part of the setup.

The onboarding flow uses a smartphone camera for the secondary view and includes room and ear scans. Follow the current prompts rather than an old screenshot or video.
